Another 5 Ways to Wear.......

This time's the turn of a new purchase.......this Weekday sweater.

Weekday jumper

Just styling a very simple piece this week bu something I easily get stuck in a rut with when I find an outfit formula I like. This work outfit is a case in point........it's the only way I've worn the sweater so far and as I felt great in this the temptation would be to keep wearing it the same old way!

I popped on a very casual coat......my puffa to take the edge off of the smarter pieces.

Look number 2. Something new I'm experimenting with thanks to Instagram! I love the way sI'm seeing some influencers mixing different shades of the same colour together. I'm not terribly adventurous and I tend to err much more on the match-matchy side (bordering on being anal about it!). Anyway with my new sweater I have found a way to dip my toe into this trend......easy does it but I love these two shades of green together. 'Tis helped slightly by the fact that the liner jacket is edged in a darker green which helps me to feel I've pulled it together rather well. I've gone with a mid-blue straight jeans and a chunky boot! This is my favourite of the looks!

Sticking with jeans.......but this time a skinny! The blazer was a preloved buy - a past season Warehouse X Lucy Williams collaboration (worth checking eBay periodically for this - nothing to link at the moment though). To off set the smartness of the blazer I'd wear my Converse hi tops with this combo. This is what I wear to work to a tee!

The reason I left a black and white pleated skirt in my winter capsule was to style them with a cosy knit and boots! A no-brainer look - the kind of thing I like to wear for a peruse around the shops or go for lunch in. The skirts are on hold at the moment as I don't tend to wear them around the house......I feel a bit overdressed in them. Roll on the end of lockdown 2 so I can start to wear them again!

Would throw on my Fahri coat over to complete this ensemble!

And last but not least - how you are most likely to see me wearing my sweater at the moment.....with my trackies! These Adidas bottoms have been one of my best and most worn purchases this year. They are the perfect thing to lounge at home in........so versatile as well as comfy!
