My Autumn/Winter Footwear Edit

Although I've tried to resist getting in to the boots too soon I don't think I can put it off for too much longer! I still maintain that boots, bags and accessories elevate any outfit and this is definitely where I have invested this season. Last year I dipped my toe in the chunky boot trend and bought myself a pair of Dr Martens Flora Chelsea boots. They are such a great classic pair of boots, they certainly paved the way for something a tad chunkier still this year! Not only is the sole bigger but these & Other Stories boots go slightly higher up the leg which is just what was needed to be able to wear with skirts and dresses. My inspiration was Jessica Skye here...........

I bought these back in August and they have been patiently waiting to be worn.

& Other Stories boots

I wore these for the first time today! They are man-repeller's........my husband loathes them!

Next up. I have been obsessed by this image for years on Pinterest.

And so the hunt began. One of my favourite influencers is Allison Bornstein (Katie Holmes's stylist no less!) and she shared these gorgeous Jack Erwin boots. Alas they are a US brand and they don't appear to ship here :0(

Anyhow! Imagine my delight when I happened across these doppelgängers! They are from the gorgeous French brand Jonak.......very Parisian! I wasted no time in clicking the button......expect to see me trying to replicate that outfit inspiration pretty soon!

I have my super stylish friend Becky to thank for the next pair. She was sporting these back earlier this year - her inspiration was none other than Mossie!

Whilst we were away celebrating her big birthday recently she helped me to source a pair! These are preloved via eBay. I'm a size UK 6 which is a US 8. I've gone for the B fitting which is medium width. Mine are coming from the US via the eBay global shipping programme. The import taxes are included so no nasty surprises.

I've linked the search for these boots here

I was also lucky enough to be invited to a preview at Kilver Court for a Paul Smith shoe clearance pop-up. They Kindly gifted me a pair of boots for sharing the sale information on my Instagram Stories. I believe they are mens boots but as soon as I clapped eyes on them I knew they would fill a lace-up boot shaped hole in my collection. Inspired by effortlessly stylish @the_closet_stylist

Apart from boots my high tops are also a go-to of mine come the colder months. You can't beat a classic Converse hi top! I wear these cosy liners inside mine for extra warmth during the Winter months.

Another hi top favourite of mine is a leopard print pair that I found in New Look a couple of years ago. They liven up many of my winter outfits and I've found a fab alternative that I've linked below.

So that's me sorted for footwear for the foreseeable! What styles are on your wish list? I'd love to hear!

I'll be back in a few days with a requested jeans edit.

Until then........
