Black Friday Christmas Gift Guide - Going independent

This is not a sponsored post and no affiliate links have been used.

This is one for the ladies......what I'm about to share is either on my wish list or what I'll be buying for family or friends. I'm straying from the High Street this Christmas and shopping with independent brands and boutiques. Even these small brands are offering great discounts so here's my shopping list!

First up is Sand and Salt who have 25% off their cashmere accessories from Friday through til Monday with code CASHMEREFRI. This slouchy beanie is by Johnstons of Elgin, which is a Scottish manufacturer of cashmere. Now you know I'm a huge fan of Emma Hill and she recently had the opportunity to visit the Johnstons of Elgin Mill in Moray - her tour of the mill is documented here on her YouTube channel. So I was delighted when I realised that Sand & Salt stocked the brand!

I have been kindly gifted a few pieces from Sand & Salt over the years but I've also purchased from the brand myself too! I'm a huge fan of their hammam towels......but back to the cashmere as that's more practical at this time of year! I have these wrist warmers in a couple of colours!

Another gorgeous independent brand renowned for it's accessories are Black.co.uk. Again I have been collaborating with Black.co.uk for a few years now so I can absolutely vouch for the quality. They recently sent me the most divine slippers......I have worn them non-stop since I received them. They come beautifully packaged in a black pinstripe pouch (as does every purchase you make!) which is perfect for travelling. These are velour with a suede bottom and in my beloved leopard print! čśŹ They are soft, warm and superbly comfortable! There is 20% off and free delivery on everything on the Black.co.uk website from Friday until Monday.

I have a couple of other picks from Black.co.uk. You will have seen these many times on Instagram.....they are divine! Quilted leather, cashmere lined gloves. They just gets better and better with age!

And so on to a bit more leopard print......you can never go wrong with leopard print! This merino wool and silk scarf is the perfect weight for all year round. I took it on my holiday in the summer for an extra layer glamorous layer in case it was chilly in the evening. It is the perfect accessory to elevate a simple outfit.

Every year my New Year Resolution is to get more organised. I've had one of these beautiful planners before and so it's on my wish list this year. Pretty please Santa.......let me find one of these in my stocking!

If jewellery is your thing I've been a long-time supporter of the lovely Amy of Chambers & Beau. I love her bespoke pieces and this is on my wish list to be inscribed with the words " Follow your Bliss".  Chambers & Beau have 15% off when you spend over £100......and free earrings if you spend over £150 with code SMILE at checkout.

Also on my Christmas list is some loungewear - the hubs is fed up with seeing in my pyjamas everyday from 4pm onwards so I'll be putting these on my Christmas list. They would be great for travelling and fingers crossed we are planning on jetting off for some sun to see in the New Year! There is 15% off everything at Lavender Hill Clothing with code BF19.

Last but by no means least - a brand I'm proud to be an ambassador of! Even more so now that I have had the pleasure of meeting Helen the founder of Disko Kids a few weeks ago. Obviously I love Disko Kids range of slogan tees and sweatshirts which would make great presents but recently Helen has also recently started stocking some great slogan totes that I "love"!!

The Disco one is ace too!

Any other business?! Just wanted to mention a lovely local business - Duo Boots in Bath as they have 25% off until Monday with code BLACKFRI.

Also that Kilver Court have a Baukjen warehouse sale starting on Friday 29th November until Sunday 1st December - more information here.

That concludes my Cyber Weekend round-up. I hope it's been helpful and given you a few ideas!

I'll be back over the weekend with my winter skincare routine. I have a few empties and I'm hoping I can grab myself some deals on my replacements!

See you again soon, Michelle xx
