new in.....

......my wardrobe this week!
Just a quickie from me this evening to share what I've purchased the past couple of days. I'm certainly making up for lost time after struck by the nasty flu bug that's been going around. In fact I have gone a bit purchase crazy!
First up is a wardrobe reviver if ever there was one! I do love red....it's my favourite colour, guaranteed to lift my spirits......and what better way to banish those January blues.

At the weekend I dragged out a past season Zara camel coat, styled it simply with a cashmere rollneck sweater, straight jeans and red boots.......therein my Winter-Spring transitional uniform was born! I'm all about the shorter tailored coat for seeing me through to Spring and so I set about some internet researching. I got a bit more Spring inspiration than I bargained for on the Stradivarious website as I also ended up popping this navy peacoat in my basket. Another great addition to see my through to Spring....brilliant price too at £39.99.

I ordered a size small in both....the sizing is spot on, I'm usually a size 10. I've worn the red already.....bring on the weekend so I can road test the navy one!

I've had much luck in T K Maxx of late! I regularly scour their website for gems. I spotted not one but two Chinti & Parker tops online at the weekend. I ordered both and initially thought I'd keep both. After much cogitation I've decided to return one......there is just too much gorgeous stuff out there at the moment and I can't have it all!

The keeper......

I'm returning this one as it's more of a tunic style......I prefer to tuck my tops and the anchor is not in the right place to do this. Also although this is a small is comes up slightly on the large size. The above top is an XS which is perfect....especially to tuck.

That's all the clothing but due to my #2018goals I've purchased a new body brush.....I've been doing this for years but after watching The truth about looking good with Cherry Healey last week I thought it was about time I invested in a new one as it would seem that it is the most effective way of dealing with cellulite (I'm also going to be targeting that area exercise-wise and using a cream.....every little helps right!).

Something else I also invested in was 40 black velvet hangers from Primark.....practical I know but I can squeeze so much more in my new wardrobes thanks to these! Another one of my #2018goals I can check off.....I'm getting more organised! ;0)
