it's a win-win!

So......long time no blog. I've taken advantage of the fact we are between seasons to have a little break but I'm back in the saddle now and ready to look at a few transeasonal purchases. Last week I took myself off to Kilver Court Designer Outlet. As it happens my next event as part of The Social Brunch Club line-up is taking place there in a couple of weeks on 9th September. Whilst I had a peruse around I was made aware that during the weekend 8th-10th September there would be the opportunity to stock up on a couple of classics from sought after brands that would normally be a bit out of budget for me. At Kilver Court there is up to 70% off of brands such as Chinti and Parker, Whistles, Toast, Joseph, Seven Boot Lane, Winser London, Jack Wills anth-d MIH jeans (lots more as well!) all year round. Though the timing of our event couldn't be more perfect as there is a rather legendary Paul Smith warehouse sale taking place. In addition to Paul Smith Mens, Ladies and accessories there are also some other amazing end of Summer markdowns not to be missed! 2 pairs of MIH jeans for £120, up to 75% off A/W17 Toast, an extra 10% off Rapha, 50% off of selected Joseph items and further markdowns on Chinti and Parker are just some of the amazing deals to be had! Hence I saved my pennies......and came away empty handed last Thursday as I'm holding tight for some of these aforementioned bargains!

At the top of my shopping wish list is this little beaut from Chinti and Parker.

There was also a superb range of Chinti and Parker cashmere.

Unfortunately I can't link any of these items as Kilver Court aren't online.

The Whistles department was also brimming with fab reductions. It's a good job that my birthday is in October so that I have the perfect excuse to bag myself another leather biker ;o) This beautiful buttery soft tan jacket is reduced to £229......what a steal!

There was a good selection of Penelope Chilvers shoes and boots.

If you are a fan of MIH jeans....you would indeed be in heaven.....just check out their jeans and clothing department! A little dickie bird has told me that this will also be refurbished by September 9th.

This little MIH top would be great to stash for next Spring/Summer.

Orla Kiely galore if that's your bag!

I know that my daughter will be all over the Jack Wills department!

Last time I went to Kilver Court I picked up an L K Bennett bag (see below pink dress outfit below) for a shade under £80 so I tend to make a beeline for their selection of shoes and bags!

That concludes my quick virtual tour of just a few of the departments...there are many more all listed here. I am going armed with my credit card 9th September when The Social Brunch Club is taking place in the The Directors Suite. So do you need anymore incentive to come along to the event? Did I mention that the Mulberry factory shop is just next door.......oh and there you can also enjoy a leisurely stroll around the beautiful gardens! Just make sure you get there early for the Paul Smith sale.....I'm told the queues are lengthy!

Just to remind you, here's a little bit more information about The Social Brunch Club. It's an informal gathering for people to mingle and network. You may be a blogger just starting out in need of advice or new to social media and interested in growing your following. We have some stylists onboard if you are in need of help with any styling dilemma's. Maybe you are a photographer who is willing to share a few tricks of the trade. It could be that you have just set up a new business and want to connect with Bloggers and Instagrammers who can help put your brand on the map or if you are an established business already social media savvy or a PR perhaps you would care to share what makes a successful blogger partnership. We kick off with a few introductions and our signature icebreaker 'speed networking' which really gets the creative energy flowing! This time around our guest speaker is Mais Edwards from Seven Boot Lane who'll be doing a little Q&A for us. I, for one am very interested to hear how using social media has helped her grow her business. There will be refreshments on arrival......the fresh scones and pastries are to die for! There are still  a few spaces available, so if you would like to take advantage of everything Kilver Court has to offer and sample The Social Brunch Club you can book a place here. We would love to see you.....everyone is welcome.

I'll leave you with a few of my favourite outfits from the past few days....there are rather too many to catch up with at the moment!

  1. Oh Michelle, what a Social Brunch to chose to attend! I would be pricing flights if I wasn't already away this weekend. Would be too much to escape two weekends in a row. So wish I lived closer. Definitely visiting Kilver next time I'm in the area - it looks amazing. Good luck with the event! xx

    1. You would love it Avril....I know how much you love a bit of outlet shopping too....if we could have got Sue there too it would have been just like the good old FBU days! ;0) I wish you lived closer too....don't forget to look me up next time you are over though....it's been too long! xx

  2. Gutted that I can't make it due to the hubs not being around. Could cry. x

    1. I could cry too....I need my wing woman!! We will have to engineer a little gathering that's a bit more central! xx
