And we are off!

I best warn you right now that this post has been as hastily put together as the packing itself! I literally have thrown this lot in the case. I had a quick try-on of a few bits last weekend but that is about as much thought as I've given it. So excuse me for this random bunch of stuff. I'm blaming the weather! Because we haven't had a prolonged spell of the good stuff here, there hasn't been any need to do the Summer wardrobe changeover......hence I've not been particularly motivated to buy any high Summer clothing either! Catch 22 isn't it?!

The best I could do was to lay this stuff on the bed to picture it. About 95% of it is more than a season old so I've found an alternative to link where possible. My Mango order hasn't arrived to take with me.....but I'm hopeful of picking up the dresses I ordered whilst I'm in Lanzarote......maybe a couple of bits in Zara too?! ;0)

Here goes, starting with dresses....the shorter ones. All past season.

Poolside.....I've gone for a tie-dye overshirt. I love the notion of a crisp white overshirt....however in reality as I found out last year, one wear and mine was binned. It was covered in yellow stains from suncream that even bleach couldn't shift. Thought I would try and inject a bit of colour and the shirt looks great with a half tuck with the denim cut-offs! The playsuit is no-brainer as it's so easy to pull on over a bikini.

Obsessed with my espadrilles...so I'm taking both colours! Flip flops by day around the pool and some sparkly flats just incase!

The straw basket will take me anywhere but I've popped in the smaller basket too. A colourful clutch that double as a make-up purse too!

I made a last  minute purchase to wear on the plane that I'll be teaming with my denim jacket (similar here), a gorgeous scarf (here) and my black espadrilles.

I will be stashing something similar to this in my hand luggage as we have a 6am flight. It'll mean I can change in the airport when we get there. Also in the bag is a top like this that comes on every trip. Just in case I need something with a sleeve.

I'm not taking loads so there may be a last minute wobble that may mean result in a couple of extras being chucked in at the eleventh hour...... otherwise I'll be leaving myself a fair bit of room for any holiday purchases!

Onto my outfits for these past two glorious weather days!

And so we are off....at the crack of dawn! I shall be posting my outfits on Instagram everyday.....see you on the other side!

Thank you to East for the shirt & clutch

  1. That's actually really really organised. I'm a stuff it all in at the end kind of girl.

  2. I'm a 'bring everything vaguely summery, most of which will return home unworn' kind of girl. I bow to such organisation.

  3. Looks like a brilliant holiday wardrobe! Have a brilliant time x

  4. Did Imiss that Black Sabbath shirt!!!
Love the black Zara dress! Have a great time dear!
