shade-y lady!

A lovely reader recently contacted me asking what my sunglasses preferences are (thank you Helen!). Perfect timing for a piece about my favourite sunnies I thought! Although I have a drawer full shades I always end up rotating the same two pairs. I am a sucker for classic shades and so they are both Rayban's. As sunglasses go....these are my signature styles! I never leave the house (read all year round!) without either one of these safely stowed in my bag.

I originally bought the gold framed aviators..... but at the time I did struggle with mixing my metals and so a second Rayban purchase came about. I am relieved to say that since then, gorgeous jewellery brands such as Chambers & Beau and Bella Jane Jewellery have come to my rescue and those days of being matchy-matchy are well and truly behind me.....otherwise I may also have  bought these with a silver frame as well!

If you are on the look-out for some new sunnies I would recommend checking out good old T K Maxx. In the past I have picked up a couple of designer bargains from them. Both of these pairs are ancient but I occasionally still wear them. First up are these Jackie O style glasses from Stella McCartney. I bagged these for a song in their clearance section.......if my memory serves me correctly they were just £20!

I also snapped up these Furla aviators for silly money.

After a quick snoop online, I see that T K Maxx have loads of designer shades to choose from. Plenty of lovely frames from the likes of Valentino, YSL, Karl Lagerfeld and Jimmy Choo to choose from. Always a good idea to check out instore though if you want to seek out those really good bargains!

Whilst we are on the subject of accessories I have a couple of newbies to share! My love for anything pineapple-related knows no bounds at the moment! After purchasing the now Insta-famous H&M pineapple tee......I couldn't resist this gorgeous necklace from Poppy Thorn who just happen to have 20% off with code EASTER this weekend.

I love this delicate acorn too.....this would make such a lovely gift! A cheeky Easter present to yourself?! ;o)

And finally, another H&M tee I'm obsessed with.....and earrings that match! I am in matchy-matchy heaven at the moment! Sue actually found these whilst we were having a nosey around H&M in York last weekend. They were the princely sum of £2, and came with 3 assorted other pairs! Thank you Sue!

Oh and by the way....if you are out and about shopping over the weekend and a fan of the H&M tees or any of the bits I blogged about here H&M have 20% off (instore only) on spends over £30 until the 22nd April.......go forth and splurge in H&M to your hearts content!
