holiday dressing!

With only a few weeks until the next half term when we jet off for a bit of sunshine I thought it was about time I put in some serious research as to what to add to the holiday box! I'm after a few easy pieces that will lift what I take away year-in, year-out! Let's face we hardly get the wear out of our high Summer stuff as we tend to only have a handful of occasions to need it with our British temps! After a quick flick through one of the glossy Sunday mags this morning I saw this gorgeous ad for Next and was inspired to take a look at what they had to offer. This resulted in a humongous order taking place!

Here's the guilty inspo culprit! It's quite casual where we are going so I'll be wearing this of an evening with these tan flats and  this straw bag. I'm just hoping this comes up a little longer on me!

I couldn't resist adding a bit more red to my wardrobe....as well a couple of boho-style pieces. This also comes in black and ochre.

Now this sundress is pretty spendy for Next at £70 but I'm curious! I will either love it or hate it! I'm not sure I think the heels work with it, not for me anyway. I think it would really well with these espadrilles.....as luck would have it they are on my holiday hit list ;o)

I have a black cotton Whistles dress that comes out year on year, sadly it's now seen better days but I think I've found a good replacement here. Again just add tan strappy flat sandals, a jazzy clutch and you are good to go!

Back to another burst of colour for some more day-time/beach cover-up type dresses. Love the pockets on this one and the styling here is right up my street!

And last but not least.....a bit of blue.

I have high hopes that this little lot is a good start to my holiday box. I shall keep you posted on my findings! ;o)

  1. Hi, l love following your blog, I really wanted the fashion union dress but it is sold out in the 12, have you seen any alternatives about? K x

    1. Hi Kate!
Thank you for the lovely compliment....great to hear you love the blog! I will keep my eyes peeled for an alternative to the Fashion Union dress.....I would recommend that you stalk ASOS a few times a day for a size 12. I have been lucky a couple of times recently by doing just that! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! xx p.s google Fashion Union dresses as the brand is stocked in a few places and Zalando and Brand Attic stock the same style dress as mine xx
