Are you still eeking out every last bit of bare-legged weather or have you succumbed to the tights yet? It look as though I will be getting my pins out for the rest the week as more gorgeous sunshine has been forecast! Whoopee!!
Just a couple of outfits from the past few days to catch up on! Found an opportunity to try the DIY velvet neck tie with my Primark shirt for a lovely catch up with some friends over cocktails at Harvey Nicks in Bristol on Friday night!

Loving your skirt and shirt looks, Michelle. Perfect for this weather! I wore tights for one day last week, but I'm out if them again now - this weather can't make its mind up! Looking gorgeous as always. Lynne xx
ReplyDeleteThe good old shirt gives just a bit more coverage than a t-shirt in the morning, then when things warm up the sleeves can be rolled right up! The legs are a bit chilly first thing but I quite enjoy the bracing walk to school....hoping this lovely weather takes us right into next month! Thanks Lynne! xx
DeleteYou can't beat a shirt & skirt combo can you Michelle. Long may this glorious weather remain!

My Midlife Fashion
I think I need more skirts in my life now Jane....I've plenty of shirts! I'm very tempted by the Topshop one in the mid blue as an alternative to my Jack Wills one! Let's hope we have a few weeks of this Indian Summer we've been promised! xx
DeleteHow is the sizing on Zara skirt? I'm a 10 and never know whether to go small or medium?! thanks
ReplyDeleteHi, I bought the medium and I would describe myself as a size 10! Hope that helps! :0)
DeleteI think I've just about packed my legs away not that they had much of airing this year. The shirt and skirt combo looks great on you - you have fab legs. I also did check out that skirt whilst in Zara - I might need to check it out again - I could be persuaded by you to try for winter with some tights and boots.
ReplyDeleteI am determined to get to the end of the end of the week with the bare legs out Sue! Then I shall be joining you with in opaque tights, boots with my Brave Soul black and red check skirt and Zara faux leather skirt! I am determined to keep on showing the pins through Autumn/Winter even if it means they are encased in tights! xx
DeleteI wish I could wear a shirt like you - I always feel that they fit across the shoulders but gape at my boobs! I feel like I am constantly adjusting! Looking fabulous - you have inspired me to get my leather skirt out!
ReplyDeleteThere are times when I am thankful for being small on the bust front because I still even get problems with shirts and blouses gaping.....and I can't stand fiddling with stuff either! Get that leather skirt out girl......mine leather look one has been such a wardrobe winner! xx
DeleteYou always look so great in shirts, they really suit you. Love the skirt and short combo, you make it look so easy! Even though the sun's been shining I've still found it too cold for bare legs, you make me want to push on through it though, we'll see! x
ReplyDeleteThank you Natalie.....I will be layering up with a sweater over the top of my shirts and prolonging the life of my skirts by wearing with tights and boots this A/W!! Hope this lovely weather lasts a while longer.....it is so nice to still have the legs out! xx
DeleteNot sure that everyone could pull of that look with such style, but it looks fabulous on you. I'm not a skirt wearer but I haven't fully succumbed to the autumn wear yet ... I've yet to pull out the leather trews or the coated skinnies!
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen! I am nowhere near ready to don my A/W stuff yet....I am still clinging on to Summer!! Mind you I might have to draw the line at getting the legs out on an evening now as that's when the temps really dip! Then it's thank heavens for the faux leather leggings! :0)
